Bauer Power opens third new office in the new “Michigan Life
Science & Innovation Center”

Martin, MI – September 28, 2009 – On September 24th, 2009, Bauer Power was one of the first
companies to open its doors in the new “Michigan Life Science & Innovation Center”, located
in Plymouth Michigan. The MLSIC (Michigan Life Science & Innovation Center) is part of the
SPARK regional Incubator Network. Owner and C.E.O. Mark Bauer said “we want to help
Michigan grow back to being a state doing well, not just making it. There is a lot of
innovation in this state; we just had to be right in the middle of it all. It is exciting to see this
side of the state coming back and we at Bauer Power want to be part of that growth” says
Bauer. Solar and wind energy have so much potential to help Michigan grow, finally our state
Government and the people of Michigan can see the possibilities. Employing over fifteen
people in two states and now three locations, Bauer sees the potential and continues to
invest in Michigan. “We want to make this work and continue to hire more and more people.
Michigan can do it and Bauer Power is determined to see it through”!
Bauer Power has installed hundreds of solar and wind systems across Michigan, employing two
engineers, one being an Electrical Engineer Graduate of the University of Michigan, and two
Michigan licensed electricians, makes Bauer Power the go to company for sound advice on RE
(renewable energy) products. “We help people from the beginning to the end, we spec,
design, engineer, and install the system” said Bauer. “Many of the new on the horizon
companies offer consulting, but have never even installed RE systems” warns Bauer. “Often
they then hire subcontractors to do the work, this can lead to poorly sited systems that end
up giving RE a bad name and then they don’t work. If RE is going to grow in Michigan it has to
be done right, it must save energy, show us how to be better stewards, and save money at
the same time”. America needs RE, Michigan needs RE and Bauer Power knows how to do it!
