Energy Works Michigan - Renewable Schools Program

Bauer Power is proud to have been selected to put solar and wind energy systems in Michigan
schools, through the Energy Works Michigan program.  This program is sponsored by the MPSC
(Michigan Public Service Commission).  Over forty companies in and around the Midwest applied to
be chosen as the vendor for these projects, but Bauer Power was the vendor of choice for West
Michigan.

Emile Lauzzana, the Project Director commented, “We looked for RE (renewable energy)
experience, industry longevity, amount of projects completed, staff employed, and familiarity with
the power authorities and their processes. Bauer Power was clearly a company of choice”.  "Their
proven ability to provide quality turn-key services was another company attribute that made
Bauer Power standout.”added Emile.

The Energy Works Michigan web site
www.energyworksmichigan.org explains how schools across
Michigan can apply to have solar and wind energy systems installed. Students and visitors will
have the opportunity to see how these technologies work and how they can be applied to
everyday homes and businesses, including schools! These will be fully functioning systems that will
feed generated energy into the school and be monitored 24/7/365.
